Long Time No Updates

Well, there's been some changes in the Johnson House since Joe was 6 months old. So we'll start there...with Joe.
My sweet baby boy is now almost 21 months old. He's walking, running and talking along with talking back. We've started time outs which really seems to work for him and taking him out of situations where he'll esculate further. Still a peanut though last weight at the airport 2 weeks ago was ony 25 pounds...but let me tell you this boy eats!!! I couldnt be prouder to be his mama. He behaves in resturants and at the grocery and everyone who comes in contact with him just loves him. it's like he speads just a little bit of joy to all he meets! He loves to share and play with other children. He also loves spending as much time as he can possibly squeeze into a day with his daddy. Cutting the lawn, washin the car, Fake driving the car and sharing strawberry milk are all favorite daddy/ little boy activities....
As for daddy...Josh got us moved again so we're hanging out here in Fort Carson, Colorado and we've been here since june last year 09. Josh stayed at Headquaters for a while until he got his current position..Commander of Charlie Company with 2 stb 4ID. He likes his job and i think does well with it. The green suiters really seem to respect him and want to work with him. Josh is due for a deployment around april next year. I'm sure he will prepare his troops and him self very well.
as for me well....
I'm glad to be here at Fort Carson. It's beautiful. We found a great little church that makes us feel at home and they just love "Lil Joey".My fabulous husband bought us a great home. I have a great backyard and a garden. Since last post we have another dog. Her name is Jenna. We call her Jenny though she seems to like it better. She's a border collie/ aussie mix.We rescued her from here. She was in a home with 25 other dogs. She was a little to skinny for josh and i likings and she just looked sad. So now she's here in our little home enjoying life with her 2 new siblings Max and Pennie. Pennie finally has someone to keep up with her!
I have set my 2 fish tanks so i now have a Mini Reef Tank with a fish i named Shark Bait and a 37 gal that will have tropical fish for Joe. He seems to really love fish and all animals...i guess he's got a bit of me in him after all!!! I've gotten the hang of married life and house keeping...which i'll be honest escaped me for a while. We've got new cars as well. I offically drive a mommy mobile!!! I love it it's a V W Routan and it has so many gadgets that i dont even think i have used all of them and i've had the car for about 4 months...gosh it's already been 4 months!! I also got new furniture due to unexpected illness of the previous couch which landed it in the basement!!! I'll be honest i;m not sad about that one bit. My house finally feels like home instead of a frat house. Things match. My next big purchase will be a bedroom set for us..but we may wait till we're done with this crazy army life we lead so what we buy will be beautiful and it'll stay that way. I am the FRG Leader for my hubby. I've had lots of learning to do but people in our company seems to be glad i'm around. I guess change every once in a while is a good thing! I've yet to master high altitude baking but i think it'll come with time and what i mean by that is when i have time to do it!!! Well i think that has sumed up what has been happening here at the Johnson's.
We miss our friends from FLW and those we've been with for a while. But make new friends but keep the old 1 is silver and the other gold....hmmmm girls scouts just came back for a second there..YIKES!!! I hope everyone who reads this and their families are well. Off to chase down my dogs and kid running in the backyard!! God Bless
